Marjorie is a 62-year-old diabetic over 100 lbs. weight loss success story.

In addition to that major accomplishment, she is a divorcee with three adult children and four grandchildren.  She has worked in many different industries and held many different titles during her lifespan (academia, government, health/hospital, finance/credit companies, insurance, legal, lobbying; whilst holding the titles of housewife and mother).

Marjorie volunteer services has been at Benedict College in Columbia, SC (Twelfth and Thirteenth Annual Business Week, presentation to School of Business students in Mock Interview Session), as a Prevention Partners Coordinator, as a Habitat for Humanities Coordinator, United Way Coordinator, with Sister Care, as a Katrina Hurricane Victims volunteer, with the Salvation Army helping to feed the homeless, Organizing for America (volunteer for Health Reform), and well as with many church auxiliaries.

She was a member of Who’s Who Among Technical College Students and received the President Award as an undergraduate.  Other honors were as being a member of Empire Who’s Who, Empowering Executives and Professionals (SC State government), Dean’s List at Limestone College 1996.

Her professional association has been with Professional Women’s Advisory Board, National Association of Women Ministry, National Association of Professional Women, The American Biographical Institute International Women’s Review Board (Founding Member), Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women, SC State Government Quality Network Association, SC Grievance Committee nominee, Society of Human Resource Management, International Society of Human Resource Management, and International Personnel Management Association.

Marjorie also served as an Adjunct Instructor with Voorhees College and Limestone College in South Carolina.  She received an Associate degree in Business from Denmark Technical College, Bachelor of Science from Limestone College in Business Administration with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems, a Master of Arts degree from Webster University in Human Resource Management; as well as three (3) years of doctoral studies in pursuit of her Ph.D. in Business with Capella University.

Currently, Marjorie is working with a nonprofit organization serving people in the community.
